You knew it was coming. Maybe arguably the best film ever, Kodak’s Kodachrome transparency film will be history at the end of 2010. The last processing lab is set to shutdown at end of year. Widely know as the standard for transparency film, Kodachrome became expendable when better E-6 transparency films came on board such as Fujichrome’s Velvia.
